Shipping, Incoterms and Delivery for Valve Orders
Valve orders rarely fail because of the valve. They fail on logistics and paperwork: the wrong Incoterm, a missing certificate, a case that arrives with no tag number on it. This page explains how SAWYE ships valve and instrumentation orders, what documents travel with the goods, and what we need from you to keep clearance on schedule.
How we quote delivery

The Incoterm is written on every offer. If your procurement requires a different term, say so in the enquiry rather than after the PO — it changes both price and paperwork.
Packing
- Seaworthy plywood cases with ISPM-15 heat-treated timber, VCI bags and desiccant for stainless and duplex trim.
- Flange faces fitted with plastic caps; small instrument items in foam-lined cartons inside the case.
- Each case marked with tag number, PO number, case number and gross weight, so site receiving can be checked against the line list.
Documents that travel with the goods
- Commercial invoice and packing list
- Certificate of origin
- Material certificates to EN 10204 3.1
- Hydrostatic shell and seat test reports
- Fire-safe test certificate, where specified (API 607 / ISO 10497 / API 6FA)
- Dimensional drawings and bill of materials
If your QA department needs witnessed testing or third-party inspection release, book it in the enquiry; it changes the schedule, not just the price.
Urgent spares and shutdown dates
For planned shutdowns we ship by air to the nearest hub — Muscat, Dubai, Basrah, Ho Chi Minh City — with air waybill and commercial invoice for customs. Tell us the shutdown date and we will quote the fastest realistic option instead of the cheapest.
Consolidation
Where a project needs valves, tubing and fittings together, we consolidate into one shipment to reduce clearing and inland transport cost. Mixed orders are packed by tag number so that site receiving matches your line list line by line.
